I have been saving this post especially for today to wish you all a Happy Valentines Day!
Just as we like to express our love for others on Valentines Day, this quilt was made as a token of love. It was made by one of my customers for a dear friend of hers as a way of expressing her love and to provide some much needed comfort.
It was with great love that she designed each of the blocks to personalize the quilt. The shoes to show the love her friend has of high heels.
The hearts to tell her how much she is loved.
And the X's and O's for hugs and kisses.
Then she chose to have it quilted with this pretty heart pattern.
What a wonderful gift of love.
